Tuition Statements
Tuition statements will be given out at the beginning of each month and the tuition is due by the 10th of the month, unless other arrangements have been made. Please feel free to retain the statements for your records.
Rates
The rate for a one hour session is $40.00. As this is a slight increase over last year, please let me know if this presents a hardship for you. Each tuition statement will reflect the number of sessions planned for that month. If extra sessions are desired or a longer session requested because of a difficult test, etc., the additional amount accrued can be paid at the time of service or added to the following month's tuition.
Attendance
Regular attendance is vital as it provides continuity to your son or daughter's program and results in greater academic achievement. However, I understand that sessions will be missed due to illness and other unforeseen circumstances. If you need to cancel a session, it is very helpful to me if you or your son or daughter could call in advance (24 hours if possible) to let me know he or she will be absent.
Make-Ups
If a session is missed, your son or daughter has 30 days to schedule a make-up session. Make-ups can be scheduled during the week as well as on weekends.
Closures
I operate in conjunction with the Lake Washington School District's calendar and closure schedule. If school is not in session because of a holiday, grade preparation day, snow day, etc., then I will be closed as well. On those days, however, I may choose to schedule make-up sessions or provide extra sessions for students who desire the help.
Communication
I will call you periodically throughout the year to discuss your son or daughter's progress. Because it is sometimes necessary to contact their teacher to get a complete picture of their progress, please complete the form on the bottom of the introductory letter and return it to me with the first month's tuition.
Also, it is most beneficial to keep me informed of the information (concerning math) you have access to from your son or daughter's school via Webgrader, progress reports, report cards, or verbal communication from their math teacher; or if there is other pertinent information that would affect their progress in school.
